Osteria
dal Cornuto

In the historic Pont de Ferr complex

Where one of the Navigli’s most iconic locations once stood, a true Italian osteria comes to life: an open kitchen, fresh ingredients every day, carefully prepared dishes, and an informal atmosphere designed for people who simply want to enjoy good food together.

A beautiful experience. Sunday lunch with lifelong friends.

The appetizers were truly exceptional, the fried dishes were wonderful, but the fettuccine with oxtail were absolutely outstanding. I complimented the owner in person, and I’m doing it again here.

The prices are fair for Milan, and the oxtail was truly something special. Just like my mother used to make it.

It brought back a beautiful memory. Thank you for the experience.

A wonderful experience. Sunday lunch with my long-standing friends 🩷

The starters were truly exceptional, the fried dishes were wonderful, but what were truly, truly exceptional were the fettuccine with ‘coda alla vaccinara’ – for which the owner received my compliments in person, and I’m giving them to him here too.

The prices are fair for Milan, but the ‘coda alla vaccinara’ is truly, truly the best. Just like my mum used to make it.

It brought back a lovely memory. Thank you for the experience ☺️😊😀

I went to this osteria on the Navigli and fell in love with it.

This time I had the fettuccine alla vaccinara and I have to say it was spectacular: fresh pasta, cooked perfectly al dente, with a rich, flavourful and wonderfully velvety sauce. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and the slow cooking, with that intense yet balanced flavour that only a genuine Roman recipe can deliver. A substantial dish, but prepared with great care. The fried food was delicious – tender and crispy in just the right way.

The staff were incredibly attentive and very kind, always smiling and ready to offer advice. We really felt looked after and pampered throughout the whole lunch.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean, tidy and very welcoming – perfect for enjoying a peaceful lunch or dinner in the heart of the Navigli.

It’s one of those places you’re happy to return to, both for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. I’d recommend it without hesitation! 🍝✨
